Due to the COVID-19 related food needs, food banks across Montana are in dire need of additional resources and funding to ensure they can continue to serve their communities in need. In response to the crisis, the AT&T Foundation has committed $10,000 to the Montana Food Bank Network (MFBN) to help the more than 300 foodbanks that make up this statewide network feed their communities.
In the past months, the food bank network has seen an increase in first-time visitors due to layoffs and closures. They have also seen the demand for food assistance triple. This donation is part of AT&T’s national effort to help communities suffering food scarcity during the pandemic.
