Supporting those who serve has always been a priority at AT&T. To that end, AT&T provided $10,000 to the Springfield Boys and Girls Club, which will go directly toward providing free admission for veterans and first responders and their families for the duration of the 2021 Festival of Trees event.
The Festival of Tress is a significant event in Springfield that helps kick off the holiday season in Western Massachusetts and is one of the most important fundraisers to support the Springfield Boys and Girls Club.Ā Local companies purchase, decorate and set up individually themed holiday trees adorned with raffle prizes. Holiday music and entertainment also run throughout the event. For more information about the event, click here.
The event runs from Nov. 26 through Dec. 12 at Springfieldās Mass Mutual Center. Veterans and first responders need only provide their credentials at the door. AT&T will also be hosting a table at the event with information about technology support and resources for first responders.
The Festival of Trees is a shining example of how much positive impact the Springfield Boys and Girls Club has on the local community, its youth and families.
āWe are happy that AT&T is supporting the Springfield Boys & Girls Club as we usher in the 21st Festival of Trees,ā said Vincent Borello, Executive Director of the Springfield Boys and Girls Club. āTogether, we are welcoming our first responders, veterans, and the community to a Christmas Tradition.ā
