AT&T’s Statement on the Spectrum Pipeline Act of 2025

We applaud Representative Allen for recognizing the importance of making more full-power, mid-band spectrum available to wireless customers. Like Senator Cruz’s bill, this legislation reinstates the FCC’s spectrum auction authority and allocates 1250 megahertz of licensed spectrum for mobile broadband services – critical steps toward creating an ongoing spectrum pipeline to meet growing consumer demand for mobile connectivity and preserve U.S. 5G leadership. We look forward to working with members from both sides of the aisle in the House and Senate, as well as the new Administration, to further increase access to spectrum that will help us better serve our customers and keep America competitive on the global stage.
