Statement from Jeff Luong, President, Broadband Access & Adoption Initiative, AT&T
We welcome the U.S. Treasury’s announcement today of the first four state grants from the $10B Capital Projects Fund program, supporting states to expand high-speed, reliable broadband access for all Americans. AT&T is working closely with state and local leaders across the country on broadband deployment to enable work, education, and healthcare in their communities. Federal funding is critical for states to extend reliable broadband to unserved and underserved areas. We look forward to working closely with states to promptly utilize the Capital Projects Fund to bridge the digital divide.
