The People of AT&T Ohio: Ronnie Hudson

“I love working with FirstNet because I love working with first responders.”

Ohioans in communities large and small rely daily on their local first responders – police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and others. But who do those first responders rely on, when they need the right tools for the vital work they do?

One of those key resources is FirstNet®, Built with AT&T — America’s public safety network. FirstNet is connecting public safety agencies and organizations in 460 cities across Ohio, including Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Toledo, and Youngstown, among many others.

For a number of first responders in those Ohio cities, the friendly face that helps keep them connected belongs to Ronnie Hudson.

Ronnie works directly with FirstNet subscribers across the state and has been known to suit up in firefighting gear alongside members of volunteer departments to better understand the work they’re doing, or to respond personally to areas with storm damage to see if there’s anything more he can do to help.

We invested nearly $2.9 billion in our Ohio network infrastructure from 2019-2023. When you combine that kind of investment with a person who loves his work at AT&T like Ronnie does, you connect Ohioans to greater possibility.
